Accounts

Accounts are the foundation of Wuxby. Their balances roll up into your net worth and seed every forecast, so this is usually the first thing to set up.

Account types

• Assets — checking, savings, investment, retirement, and other assets.
• Liabilities — credit cards, loans, and mortgages. Stored as the amount owed and subtracted from your net worth.

Adding and editing

1. 1Click New account, or describe it to the assistant.
2. 2Pick a type and enter the current balance.
3. 3For debts, add the APR and minimum payment — these power the Debt payoff planner.
4. 4Edit any account from its row menu; changes update your net worth immediately.
